Why I can't stop grinning today

Christmas at our house:

Well, we figured it was our patriotic duty to help the economy by buying a Wii this year. (I've probably mentioned my aversion to game systems here before, so some of you may be surprised. Justification: the wii, with four controllers, is a family game that encourages physical activity. You can't deny that last part when you watch this, can you?)

The game they're playing is Olympics and the event is "Swimming." Notice youngest's foot motion. I've got a gold medalist in the making . . .

So funny! I got a Wii game for Christmas, too---Cooking Mama Cook Off! The boys can't stop teasing me, except I think they'll surpass me in cooking prowess soon. Kathryn

Great video!! I am so happy to see them enjoying their Wii. I guess it lived up to all Jon's expectations. The twins got one also, they had us laughing when they were boxing each other, they really worked up a sweat. The adult entertainment is really in watching the kids, isn't it?
And great exercise! Do you think I could get the guy who lives here interested.....?

I'll have to put it on the Christmas list for next since I feel like I'm one the few that doesn't have one yet. Looks fun.

OH, that is priceless! Actually, it's a lot like I am playing the car racing game on our PS2 with my son. I can't sit down, I'm physically turning my body to make the car go... it's pretty funny!
